TestYou is bundled with a lot of mind blowing features, which offers user a freedom of doing everything relating to online exams, tutorials, managing the test community.

TestYou can be used by both types of users:

1. Student: the one who attempts tests.
2. Admin: the one who creates and manages the tests.

Now the most important feature is that the single user can behave as both, test admin and student.

TestYou is offering three sorts of functionalities to the user login with the student account.

1. Manage Profile.

   

2. Test.

   

3. Old Records.

   

1. Manage Records:

   This option helps the user to manage their information and manage their account on TestYou.

2. Test:

   This option helps the user to give test. Tests can be setup by the test admin. Tests are configured with various options.

3. Old Records:

   This provides a way for the user to see the old records(if any), like the previous attempted test score and everything else.

TestYou offers four basic functionalities to the user logged in with

Admin account:

1. Manage Tests.

   

2. Manage Question Bank.

   

3. Manage Groups.

   

4. Manage Contacts.

   

Using this option the admin can create and manage the tests. Admin can select the category of test, subcategory, test name, test descriptions, number of questions, total test marks, keywords and even select a question bank.

Also after filling this basic information about the test, the admin has the freedom to apply his/her own settings and options to the test, which is described as follows:

1. Select Test Duration:

   using this option the admin can set the duration of test, either fixed or indefinite.

   

2. Select Test Access Time:

   using this option admin can set the test access time for the students who are taking the test

   

3. Pass Percentage:

   using this option the admin is allowed to set the passing percentage for the students who are taking the test.

   

4. Negative Marking:

   using this option, the admin can set the negative marks for the wrong answers.

   

5. Access Permission:

   this option enables the admin to set access of a test for particular group of students or it can be set to be use by all users. To set for a particular group the admin has to create groups and add those contact to the group.

   

6. Appearance of Question:

   this option can be used by admin if admin wants to display all questions at a time or one-by-one questions.

   

7. Allow Back Button:

   this setting helps admin to setup the option, whether the user is allow going back on the previous page, during the test. It has multiple option like user can go back with saved changes or without saved changes.

   

8. Question Sequence:

   this option allows the admin to set the sequence of questions to be appeared in the test to the student, it may be either Sequential or Random.

   

9. Test Status:

   By this option admin can set the status of the test, either publish or pending.

   

10. Test Result:

    by this option admin can set the option of displaying the result to the student appearing for the test, either displaying result after each question, or after the test, or through email or the admin can hide the results.

    

11. Email Confirmation:

    by this option admin can allow the email confirmation from the students, before appearing for a test.

    

12. Number of Attempts:

    this option helps to set the number of attempts for the student for giving test. Admin can set the values from this option.

    

13. Test Time:

    Time of the test can be set through this option the admin of the test.

    

14. Password Protection:

    the test can be set password protected, if the admin wants to give security to the access level of test.

    

15. Test Re-attempt Time:

    This option lets the admin to set the time for the student to re-appear in the test, time can be set according to admin choice

    

16. Result View Format:

    this option enable the admin to display the result to the student after completing the test either in a Marks type, Grade type, Percentage Type, or just in a Pass and Fail format.

    

17. Test Comment Permissions:

    this option helps to set the permissions for comments on the tests publish on the site. If the admin wants the comments open in the test, he can set that from this option.

    

18. Show Correct Answers After Test:

    this option can be used by the admin if the admin wants to display the correct answers of the questions, after completing the test.

    

    After setting up the test, the admin can view the list of test, created by him/her, from here.

    

Using this option, the user can create and manage the question bank. Question bank is sort of place where you can populate the questions by uploading questions manually or importing an excel sheet of questions to the site.

1. Adding Question Bank:

   Admin can add question bank from this option.

   

2. Question Bank List:

   After Creating a Question Bank you can see the question bank list here.

   

3. Managing a Question Bank:

   You can manage a single question bank by clicking on the question bank and you will reach this page.

   

4. Adding a Question Manually:

   You can add a question by clicking on the add new question link and you will navigate to this page to add questions to this question bank.

   

5. Import Questions:

   The admin can import the questions from the excel sheet using this option

   

Using this option admin can create and manage the users in a group, this features is introduce to provide better access levels to the students who are appearing for test, like if the admin wants a particular group or number of students to appear and not all, so the admin can them in the group from all contacts and then set the access level in test.

1. Create Group:

   Admin can add group from this option, he can give a name and add description about a particular group.

   

2. Group List:

   After adding a group to the account, the admin can see the group list from here.

   

3. Manage Contacts in the Group:

   The admin can add, remove, and edit the contacts in the group, the contacts can be added manually or can be imported through the email. Contacts in the present group can be seen in right sidebar.

   

4. Edit Groups:

   Admin can manage the groups also by either editing or removing the groups or contacts from the group.

Admin can manage the contacts from this section of TestYou. this section will let the admin to add, edit or remove the contacts.

1. Add a contact:

   The admin can add a contact from here. The admin can enter a single email id or multiple email id separated with commas in the text area.

   

2. Contact List:

   The contact list can be seen here, which are added in the admin account.

   

3. Import Contact:

   The Admin can also import the contact from his/her Gmail account. That can be achieved through this option.

   

4. Export Contact.
